Ali contributed to the award winning Event Horizon produced by Mam Tor Publishing. Event Horizon was winner of the Best Graphic Novel at Sci-Fi London 2006 - it is a series of books, showcasing the finest in underground, fantasy, and science fiction in a unique mix of comics and illustrated text stories by some of the best names in the industry and the stars of tomorrow.

Ali writes all his own song lyrics, has provided lyrics for other musicians, has scripted several film shorts and animations and is currently working on a play.
