ARTIST
Ali paints, draws, makes models, props and sculptures and takes photographs. One of his photographs was a semi-finalist in the Channel 4 Year One Photographic Competition, was displayed in galleries in London, Liverpool and Glasgow and was Image of the Day in The Independent on 12 March 2001.
He worked as a scenic artist on Alexis dos Santos’s feature film Unmade Beds (2009) .
